Prepare the Crust:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a small bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar, then stir in the melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch square or round baking dish. Bake for 5-7 minutes, then remove and let it cool on a wire rack.
Make the Filling:
3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Gently fold in 2 cups of the thawed whipped topping.
4. Slice half of the bananas and arrange them over the cooled crust. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the bananas.
Prepare the Pudding:
5. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk and banana cream pudding mix together for about 2 minutes. Let the mixture sit for another 2 minutes or until it starts to set. Gently fold in the remaining whipped topping.
Assemble:
6. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer. Slice the remaining bananas and arrange them on top.
Chill:
7. Refrigerate the dessert for 1-2 hours or until it’s firm.
